German Youth Photo Award

September 13 – October 6 2024

Banner NRW Forum

The German Youth Photo Award has been honoring young talents in photography for over 60 years, making it the largest and most traditional national photography competition in Germany. In 2024, the exhibition will be presented in Düsseldorf for the first time, with a new concept developed by students of the Design Department at Münster University of Applied Sciences under the direction of Prof. Claudia Grönebaum and Prof. Thekla Ehling.

The competition is held every two years and has paved the way for a large number of today's renowned personalities in photography in Germany - it is also a platform for presenting young people's perspectives and views on society and the present to the public and bringing them into the discourse.

From 13.9. to 6.10.24, the award winners' exhibition of the year 2024 will be presented at the NRW-Forum.

More information about the exhibition and the program will follow.
