Under the motto »Without imagination there is no art« the Artmediumfestival FIKTIVA will take place from the 5. – 8. Of October. Video art, performances, installations, theatre, films, lectures, workshops: 4 days of media art at various locations in Düsseldorf. The tour will start off at the NRW-Forum, pass by the Düsseldorf Art academy as well as the Filmkunstkino Cinema up to and including the Filmmuseum.
The tour from the NRW-Forum will lead through the inner-city and make interventions in the everyday city life with acts and performances. Festival participators and random pedestrians will be a part of the performance.
The festival combines film- and video art, theater and performances. It is a platform that encourages the exchange within the art scenes.
