VR-Workshops

Virtual Reality has long since arrived in art and offers not only new, immersive forms of presentation, but also its very own creative possibilities. A new profession has emerged; that of VR artists. They do not have their artwork in mind, they dive into it. In cooperation with the VHS Düsseldorf and Lavamachine we offer VR courses for painting and sculpture. In the courses you will learn to paint and model in virtual reality using practical tasks in addition to theory. What are the drawing tools? Which modelling tools can be used in virtual reality? How do you bring your vision to life with their help? Immerse yourself in the VR world, create in a new dimension and take home your virtual masterpiece in digital form at the end of the course.

Introduction to Virtual Reality - Painting

In this workshop you will learn how to paint in virtual reality using practical tasks in addition to theory. You will not only learn the drawing tools, but also create your own artwork in VR. You will work in teams of two with one VR headset each. Participants should have a basic knowledge of drawing and spatial imagination. Please bring a USB stick and your sketchbook with you.
