The Stiftung Museum Kunstpalast does not process any personal data when you are using the app. All data used by the app is only processed locally on your device.
The Stiftung Museum Kunstpalast has no control over or access to the processing of this data.
The purpose of this app is to display and interact with virtual artworks as part of the AR
Biennale (AR: Augmented Reality). In order to function properly, the app requires an
integrated camera on your smartphone or tablet as well as the use of location services,
but your personal data will only be processed locally on your device.
The camera on your smartphone or tablet is used to display virtual artworks in the real world, as well as to take photos of these artworks against a real background. It is also used to scan so-called markers in order to display further information about a particular work of art.
You can still use the app without permitting access to the camera. However, this means that some of the app’s features will not be available and you will only be able to view the texts about the artworks and the artists.
The camera image is processed locally on your smartphone or tablet and is not passed on to us or any third parties.
While using this app, you can allow it to identify your exact location. This location data is used to create a spatial connection between you and a particular artwork as well as to display your position on the map.
You can still use the app without permitting access to location data, but this means that your location will not be displayed on the map.
Your location data is only processed locally on your smartphone or tablet and will not be passed on to us or any third parties.
There is no analysis or tracking of your user behaviour. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
The app can be purchased from the relevant sales platform (Apple Store or Google Play).
This involves the use of data you have submitted to the relevant provider (Apple or Google), but this app has no control over or access to this information. Consequently, we are not responsible for the collection and processing of this data; the responsibility for this lies solely with the relevant app store.
